Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use cassiemarriott.com and when you book or attend sessions with Cassie Marriott ("I", "me"). By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them. They're written in plain language on purpose.

What I provide

I provide Emotional Healing Hypnosis: guided hypnotherapy sessions held online, together with the inclusions described on the Work With Me page. Hypnotherapy is a complementary practice. It is not medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment, and I am not a doctor or psychologist. Nothing on this site or in a session is medical advice, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed. Please continue to consult your doctor about any health concerns, and never stop or change prescribed treatment because of this work.

Who this is for

Sessions are for adults (18+). Hypnotherapy is not suitable for everyone; some conditions (for example epilepsy or psychotic disorders) need a doctor's guidance first. The free discovery call exists partly to check suitability honestly, and I may decline to work with you if I believe this work isn't right for your situation. If I do, I'll say so plainly and point you somewhere more appropriate.

Booking and payment

• Discovery calls are free and carry no obligation.
• Paid sessions are purchased through Stripe at the prices shown on this site, in US dollars. Your card details go to Stripe, never to me.
• After payment you'll be directed to schedule your session time. 3-Session Journey sessions are scheduled within six weeks of purchase, one per fortnight.

Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

• Life happens. You can reschedule a session without charge with at least 48 hours' notice by emailing me.
• If you cancel before your first session has taken place, I'll refund your payment in full.
• After a session has been delivered, that session is non-refundable, because the time and the work have been given. For the 3-Session Journey, undelivered sessions are refunded proportionally if you choose not to continue.
• If I ever need to reschedule, you'll get maximum notice and first choice of new times, and if we can't find one, a refund of anything undelivered.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your part

Sessions work best, and are only safe, when you attend sober, in a private space where you won't be interrupted, and are honest with me about your health history where it's relevant. You remain responsible for your own decisions and wellbeing; this work is something we do together, not something done to you.

Recordings and materials

Your personalised hypnosis track is made for you and is yours to keep for personal use. Please don't republish or redistribute it, and never listen to hypnosis audio while driving or operating machinery. Content on this website is mine and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Confidentiality

What you share with me stays between us, as described in the Privacy Policy, with the narrow legal exceptions noted there.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, my liability for any claim connected with the services is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for it.
